Chai Spiced “Milk” Shake

Miss milkshakes? You don’t have to anymore with this healthy, raw version. This is good for breakfast or even as a dessert.

2 large ripe frozen bananas, chopped (tip: peel first before freezing)
½ Cup almonds, soaked in filtered water overnight, rinsed and drained
4 large dates, pitted
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Ground cinnamon
1 tsp. Freshly grated nutmeg
1 tsp. Fresh ginger, minced
½ tsp. Ground cardamom
1-2 cups of filtered water

  1. In a blender, place the soaked almonds and one cup of the water. Process well until creamy and almonds are well ground.
  2. Add all other ingredients and blend well until thoroughly smooth and creamy, adding more water until desired consistency is reached. Pour into serving glasses and serve with some freshly grated nutmeg on top!
